The Introduction.
The Introduction. This is my first blog post. Growing up, I wasn’t known as the strongest writer or communicator, but I’ve wanted to do this for some time. I call it my thoughts page because that’s what I’d like this to be. A spot to air out my thoughts and ideas. Maybe it’ll resonate with others.
This entire site is my project. I grew tired of everything, wanting to push products, collect your information, and treat everyone like numbers. It’s easy to do, and I’ve been caught up in it a few times recently. However, I hope establishing a site or place I can call my own will be enough, but as we’ve all seen countless times, I don’t think it will be. It’s in our nature.
Because this is my project, it’ll include things that have piqued my interest or that I’ve wanted to do since childhood, like having a t-shirt company or creating “art,” or something similar. Unlike conventional business “wisdom,” I won’t push these things, but they will be available whenever they are. Of course, I’d like people to purchase them, but it’s not my goal here.
The goal of this project is to have a place called my own. In a time where housing is unaffordable, the working class is getting pinched for every penny they have, and big corporations are taking all of our data to compile them and sell them to third parties. We have less space to call our own, and I’d like a small spot to call my own, even if it’s in a random corner of the internet.
Welcome to my tiny corner of the void. It’s funny: apparently, there are 1.5 billion websites out there, so now there’s 1.5 billion and one. Why is that funny? I don’t know, it just is, and if you’re here, then that means you’re 1 in approximately 8.2 billion, so to me, you’re pretty special.
